OCTOBER 2017
URBOND VOLLEYBALL CLUB IS FORMED

The club was formed to provide competitive volleyball to the members of our community in Portsmouth who were looking to compete at a high level of the sport.
Our Men's Team was the first to be formed. In its first year at the National Volleyball League, the club registered 16 players from 11 different nationalities with Volleyball England for 2017/18 Season.

2018-2019
MEN'S TEAM PROMOTED TO DIVISION 2

2018/19 Season was the second season for our Men's Teams at national league competitions. A tough season for the team but the boys were able to finish in 3rd place and got promoted to Division 2 for the 2019/20 Season.

2019-2020
LADIES TEAM FORMED

2019 saw the formation of URBOND Ladies Volleyball Team and the team registered with Volleyball England to play at the Division 3 South East for the 2019/20 NVL Season.
Our volleyball community kept on growing and we were able to organanised our 1st Community Volleyball Tournament which brought over 130 volleyball players and fans together in March 2019.

2021-2022
JUNIOR BOYS TEAM FORMED

2021/22 Season has seen our senior Ladies and Men's team taking part in the National Volleyball League as well as our recently formed Under 18 Boys competing at the U18 Boys Competitions and Hampshire Volleyball Association (HVA) Grand Prix Competitions. Our Under 15s are gearing up so watch out!

Our girls team Under 18 team formed to compete U18 Girls Competitions and Hampshire Volleyball Association (HVA) Grand Prix Competitions.

TEAM URBOND

We are a competitive volleyball club - with our players competing at all local, and national levels. We organise indoor and outdoor tournaments and run open sessions for the community. Join us!
